[ about us ]

We’re a community of Jesus-followers dedicated to living out our faith, sharing the Word and our journeys in authentic community, and growing spiritually deeper together.

Here’s some things to know about us:

Questions are welcomed. Just don’t expect easy, pat answers. We’re a group of disciples learning to follow the Master more closely, learning, sharing and even doubting together. In the end we know that Jesus is the answer — but that’s not as simplistic or stifling as many Christians make it out to be.

We’re committed to making faith a verb, and putting it into action. Community service is important, because we believe we should bless the world around us because God has blessed us. (See Genesis 12:1-4, where God blesses Abraham to be a blessing to all the nations of the world.) So in addition to our family and individual projects, we do service together. We’ve worked together to collect food for the Quakertown Food Pantry and Bucks County Housing Group, and we’ve raised funds for Manna, a hunger program, and the Liberty Center for Victims of Torture, which helps resettle refugees fleeing oppression.

All are welcome. Come as you are, wherever you are in your life/spiritual journey.

We’re kid- and family-friendly. There’s generally an activity time for children while we worship and study, but if you’d rather have your kids with you, that’s OK, too. We’re flexible.

Everyone can participate and lead. Our discussions are wide-ranging and open to many perspectives. We have a variety of folks who lead by hosting, planning and contributing to meals, designing and leading worship, and more. If you have a gift you want to use, let us know!

Our rhythm

We’re experimenting with a new rhythm for faith community. We have a number of opportunities for worship, service, learning and fellowship.

Sunday, 4 pm — home gathering — Each week we gather, usually in a home, for a community supper, interactive worship and conversation about our faith journeys. For information about the gatherings contact Bob at 267.702.4262.

In between, we also meet in two’s and three’s for deeper fellowship and sharing. People in the group are regularly serving in community groups and we sometimes organize group service projects that anyone can join in. We also arrange prayer retreats, book groups and other activities as people have interest.

Watch our website or join our email list to get more details.

We’re also actively seeking the Spirit’s guidance about what this gathering should become. (So fasten your seatbelts and stay tuned to this website for developments!)
